Value Team is the consulting and IT solution company inside the Value Partners Group Value Team Finance has been created to emphasize the particular experience collected by Value Team in the last years within international Finance projects, both in functional (e.g., payment systems, funds, and finance) and in and technological side (Open environments, Object Oriented Design, Java oriented and SOA). Value Team Finance currently counts on  50 practitioners, skilled on new directions for innovative technologies applications, and experienced on bank processes innovation. VT Finance headquarters are in Milan, while its two development labs are in Milan and Turin. VTPie, with its first SEPA Credit Transfer module, is one of the first legacy solutions (within the core banking information systems) conceived and developed entirely on the bases of Java-J2EE technology and on SOA native architecture. It has been analysed and certified by the computer science department of University of Turin. The module is currently in use by the Banca Popolare di Sondrio. VTPie places itself among the most innovative software, in the technological context of IT solutions addressed to finance institutions. Founded in 1871, Banca Popolare di Sondrio represents one of the first popular banks inspired by the movement of popular credit unions in Italy.
Over time, thanks its growth in business and presence in the area, Banca Popolare di Sondrio got a regional position improving in the same time its national visibility, always keeping a strong link with the native area.

Since 1971, the Computer Science Department of the University of Turin takes care of all the research and education activities organized by the University of Turin within the Information Technology area. The presence of many members of the department in editorial committees of international leading journals, in planning committees of international conventions, and in key positions of national and international scientific associations, shows their scientific relevance.
