VTPie is an innovative way to conceive core systems in the IT bank world:
- Java web based (100%): based on interaction models which are light, flexible and multimedia
- SOA (100%): overcomes the static silos architectures by the usage of new architectures, based on reusable components allowing to notably decrease the standard implementation times (e.g., development and deployment of SEPA credit transfer procedures in only three calendar months)

VTPie is made of mechanisms to interact and dialogue with the rest of the software bank world, and of a kernel module (sum of different applicative modules: transactional, management, and notification), on which the vertical modules (i.e., vertical applications behind the bank processes) for the development of the new information system  (e.g., first Credit Transfer module) are based.
